I had a number of things I wanted to post but it has been a bit crazy the last couple of months, trying to fit everything in! One of the things I wanted to write about was this little Christmas tree that I bought a few weeks ago. For over a year I’ve thought it would be so cool to grow my own Christmas tree. A couple of attempts earlier in the year, using a seed in a kit (though I think it was just a festive gimick, given the glittery soil!!) and some cuttings proved fruitless. Then I saw this cute little tree in a lovely garden centre recently and I couldn’t resist it. Though I can’t remember its exact height, the watering can in the background gives you some idea of scale. In time I would like to plant it outside, but for now I’m looking after it in the greenhouse.
As you can see, I have since added lights and ribbons and baubles to the tree. And notice the red ribbon on my “Penthouse” (my little greenhouse within the greenhouse for my tender seedlings, in case there should be a frost). There is also some frosty-grass-effect tinsel with red ribbons on in the roof of the greenhouse. Oh yes, it is certainly spruced (!) up for Chrismtas out there!
I wish you a very
May hope, peace, love and joy be yours in abundance!
